The Loose Woman told her I’m a Celebrity co-stars the comical story about when she went for the etching at just 18 – but found it too agonising so left after an outline was done.

Speaking on Wednesday’s show on ITV, she said the outline now resembles a “golden eagle” because her bum has got bigger since. The confession left her campmates, including Corrie actor Alan Halsall, McFly singer Danny Jones, N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, speechless.

The gang were eventually pictured bursting into laughter at Jane’s cheeky mishap, which she shared after asking Danny about his tattoo on his right leg. The musician, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, admitted he was underage when he got the large inking done but, as a kid, wanted something with Bruce Springsteen lyrics on.

Then Jane, who has been a regular on Loose Women since 2013, said: “When I was about 18, I thought I’m gonna get a bluebird on my bum. They just did the outline and I went ‘too painful, thanks’, and I just left… So I’ve just got this outline. It’s like a golden eagle now because my arse has got bigger.”

It offered Danny, 38, light relief as later in the show, he broke down as he opened up on battling anxiety since he was a teenager. Talking about therapy and his emotions, jungle co-stars Oti Mabuse and Tulisa both praised the musician for opening up.

Asked about therapy, Danny went on: “Yeah, I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety.” It’s then that he detailed an on-air panic attack that left him “freaking out” during a televised interview. He revealed: “I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me. Heart rate goes crazy.”

Jane had asked whether he’d suffered with it from childhood, with Danny becoming upset with his head in his hands as he told her: “I think I escaped a lot.”

As he broke down, Tulisa said in the Bush Telegraph: “We’re seeing a lot of emotion coming out of Danny which is beautiful.” Back in camp Danny then thanked his campmates.
