Former NFL star JJ Watt has revealed that he’s a Swiftie, having waxed lyrical over Taylor Swift in a recent appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’
Taylor is now very popular in NFL circles, given her relationship with Travis Kelce, with more athletes paying attention to and attending her shows.
McAfee took in a recent Eras Tour performance and spoke about his experience while Watt was making a guest appearance on said show
An Unlikely Taylor Swift Attribute Stood Out To JJ Watt
Watt revealed he was at the show that kicked the Eras Tour off in Glendale, Arizona, last March. The singer’s stamina is what impressed him the most.
“Unbelievable. Unbelievable. I mean, shocking,” the former Pro Bowler remarked.
“I am truly impressed by the physical stamina and ability of it. I don’t think people give that anywhere near enough credit. I don’t think they understand how difficult that has to be to get up there for that long every night.”

Having gone to a recent performance, McAfee could only agree.
“I didn’t know you could be that electric for that long,” he said. “Stamina. We’re talking stamina.”
