ANN Summers boss Jacqueline Gold left a £17.6million fortune to her family in her will.

The lingerie tycoon, who died of breast cancer aged 62 in March 2023, left property and savings to her husband Daniel Cunningham, 46, probate papers reveal.

He will also hold the copyright to her books.

Her sister, Vanessa, was bequeathed a pendant and matching earrings, while the rest of her jewellery will go to daughter Scarlett, 15.

Jacqueline is credited with turning her father David’s sex shops into female-friendly spaces.

She introduced Tupperware-style home parties, turning sex toys such as the Rampant Rabbit into household names.

Gold was a powerful advocate for women in business and once said: “I set out to empower women in the bedroom and now I want to empower women in the boardroom.”

She died just three months after her businessman father David Gold, the joint chairman of West Ham United, passed away aged 86.

In 2016, she was made a CBE for services to entrepreneurship and to women in business.

Following her death Gold’s sister Vanessa, said: “Jacqueline courageously battled stage 4 breast cancer for seven years and was an absolute warrior throughout her cancer journey.

“In life she was a trailblazer, a visionary, and the most incredible woman, all of which makes this news that much harder to bear.

“As a family, we are utterly heartbroken at the loss of our wife, mum, sister and best friend.”
