The San Francisco 49ers are right back in the game after going down by 17 points against the Lions in their NFC Championship affair, tying scores at 24 apiece in the third quarter.
But things appeared to be very bleak during the first half as Detroit ran riot, with rookie Jahmyr Gibbs getting in on the action with a touchdown run.
Upon further examination, Niners defensive end Chase Young was spotted making a pathetic attempt to stop the running back and was getting dragged for it online.
While Young looked like the piece that would put San Francisco’s defense over the top when they acquired him at the trade deadline, he’s done little to suggest that he could be a long-term option.
Fortunately for him, the Niners have turned things around this second half.
