The Voice UK aired this evening ITV, and it was the second week of the battles. It saw two acts from each of the coaches team go up against one another in a battle to stay in the competition.

Tonight’s episode featured some memorable signing battles, such as Emmanuel Smith’s, yet it was the coaches to stole the show.

Viewers were stunned when Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson decided to take part in a little singing battle of their own.

The two coaches performed This Is A Man’s World together, and they really showed everybody how it’s done. The audience was on their feet, and the viewers went wild for the impromptu performance of the classic hit.

One viewer wrote: “Tom Jones is class.”

Another said: “Now this is a f****** duet, brilliant YEAH.”

“Tom Jones’s voice just gives me goosebumps,” wrote another viewer.

One more viewer simply said: “OMG! Chills!” after Tom and Jennifer’s performance.

“This is what we are really here for. Love Tom,” tweeted one more fan.

Another added: “When Tom and Jennifer start singing, you stop and listen.”

“One of the best parts of #TheVoice is when the coaches spontaneously sing,” said one more viewer.

Meanwhile, this evening’s episode saw will.i.am’s contestants Emmanuel Smith and Khadija Jajue perform in a battle together which stunned viewers.

Will.i.am ended up going for Emmanuel, yet all the judges were impressed by both contestants.

“Omg that gave me goosebumps they are great together, but Khadija had it for me,” wrote another viewer.

One more viewer tweeted: “Already emotionally exhausted after the first Battle.”

Another said: “Wow, trying picking one of these two.”
