Meghan Markle is “ready to sit down with the Royal Family” for talks after four years of almost no contact, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have remained distant from the British monarchy since departing as working members in 2020, when they moved to America to start a new and more private life.

Speaking to GB News, Royal Biographer Angela Levin claimed the Duchess is “still genuinely hurt” by how the “Royal Family treated her”, but is ready to reunite with them to talk things through.

Levin told host Nana Akua: “She’s still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family – this is four years on.

And she wants to now at last sit down and talk through things.”

Despite Years of Estrangement, Meghan Markle Is Now Ready to Talk It Out With the Royals,

Reacting to the latest development, Levin claimed it suggests the Duchess wants the Royal Family to “make apologies” to her and Prince Harry for events leading up to their exit from the monarchy.

Levin explained: “We know that means she wants the Royal Family, King Charles and everyone else to make an apology, but they don’t.

“The person who should apologise is really her, but they don’t want that.”

Levin also revealed that according to “a good source” close to the royals, Meghan is hoping a reconciliation with the Royal Family will also “help her sell her jams” from her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
