DANNY Jones was left screaming in horror as a snake managed to get all the way up his shorts on I’m A Celebrity.

The McFly singer was left stunned as the huge snake slithered its way up his leg and rested itself on his groin as he took part in a terrifying trial.

He had fans in shock as he revealed how the snake had gotten up his shorts
Alongside boxer Barry McGuigan, Danny took part in the Mausoleum of Misery after being picked by camp leaders Tulisa and Alan Halsall.

Halfway through the trial, Danny let out a shock yelp as he begin to explain how the snake was making its way up its leg.

Ant and Dec were left grimacing as they realised what was going on.

The singer exclaimed:“I’ve got a snake up my shorts!”

It led host Dec to quip back: “That is what’s known here as a trouser snake.”

At the end of the trial, the snake was still in Danny’s shorts with an animal handler called to get rid of it.

Before Danny could be moved, he explained to the handler that it was in his shorts as he pointed towards a large bulge in his shorts.

The singer was forced to unbutton and lower his shorts which showed the snake resting underneath

The handler was then able to safely remove the snake but not before Ant and Dec let out a few laughs as the eye-popping moment.

Reacting to the unlikely moment online, one ITV viewer said: “Episode 1 and we’ve already got the moment of the series.

Another added: “Danny undoing his pants to release his trouser snake was not on my bingo card for tonight.”

A third penned: “NOT DANNY WITH A SNAKE UP HIS SHORTS.”

Before a fourth wrote: “Things we did not expect in the first episode: Danny pulling a snake out of his shorts.”

Elsewhere, other viewers were left fuming with his co-star Barry after he failed to pick up ANY stars during the challenge.

In the trial, both Danny and Barry were locked in a chamber and each had the ability to win up to five stars for the camp.

Whilst locked in the chambers, Danny and Barry had to look at tiles on the floor which contained hints for codes to unlock five padlocks.

Behind each of these padlocks was a star and as such, if they successfully identified the codes, they were able to unlock the padlock and win a star.

However, for Barry, he was more hampered by being in the dark after admitting he could not see the codes due to the lack of light.
