During her time at the helm the A Place in the Sun star has shown countless Brits their dream homes abroad.

And with so many moving parts to filming a TV series on location, there’s bound to be mishaps.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Laura recalled a time when the entire show had to be abandoned while filming in the US.

The mum-of-two explained: “There was once an episode that I did where, unfortunately, the keys for the property got locked inside the property, and we couldn’t film it.

“That was a bit of a disaster. It was in Florida, but that was so many years ago. So we had to call a wrap on that and then show them the property the next day, which wasn’t obviously ideal. But it was just one of those things.”

Laughing, Laura continued: “It was kind of like, who’s got the keys? Oh, God, you know, imagine that thing that kind of happens at home. Who’s got the keys? Who’s got the keys?

“And it was like, oh my God, the keys are inside.”

Laura previously told The Sun she’s been targeted by ‘disgusting’ scammers to con her fans out of money.

It comes after she ran the London Marathon earlier this year in aide of the WellChild charity.

The Channel 4 star had ran the annual event in honour of Jonnie Irwin – her colleague who tragically died with cancer earlier this year.
