AS JASMIN St Claire announced she had fulfilled her “most outrageous” fantasy to sleep with 300 men in a single day, the audience erupted into jeers, cheers and applause.

The X-rated admission made the former adult star one of the most controversial guests to ever step foot on The Jerry Springer Show – a TV phenomenon famed for its outlandish storylines.

From a man who married a horse to a transgender woman who cut off her own legs with a power saw, a stripper who slept with her brother and debates with the Klu Klux Klan, only America’s wildest tales made it to air.

But Jasmin, who claims one of her four appearances was the “highest rated episode”, says not all was as it seemed ahead of new docuseries Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action, which lands on Netflix today.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, the 54-year-old tells us most scenarios were faked by actors, producers concocted storylines, and guests were forced to sign waivers to prevent them from suing for fight injuries.

The former adult actress, who is now a wrestler and broadcaster, also takes digs at similarly controversial OnlyFans star Lily Phillips and explains why The Jerry Springer Show could never be brought back.

Jasmin, who hosts the Krazy Train With Jasmin St Claire podcast, tells us: “I’m sure people know now that they had mainly fake situations on the show, sometimes there was a real surprise thrown in but 90 per cent of the time it was all phony.

“There were phony scenarios, people were put forward by agents and hired to go on the show, they knew each other and were best friends outside of it, even if they fought on stage.

“I was presented to the show by my agent and producers came up with a storyline for my first appearance in an episode where people had ‘something shocking to tell a loved one’.

“That’s why they brought me in, they decided the angle was that I was going to tell my ‘boyfriend’ that I wanted to do porn on the show.

“They chose the guy and I only met him shortly before the show, he owned a window-fixing business in real life but was very good-looking and friends with one of the producers.

“On the day, everyone sat down and Jerry came out. I was introduced and then after telling my ‘boyfriend’ I wanted to go into porn he put on all of the theatrics and dramatics from him. It was a great show.”

‘Fake boyfriend’

Prior to her first appearance on The Jerry Springer Show in late 1994, Jasmin was a porn star and modelled for the likes of Penthouse, High Society and the Playboy Book of Lingerie.

In exchange for doing the show, which ran for 17 years until 2018, she was offered $250 expenses, put up in a five-star hotel and had her airline tickets covered.

“The pay was interesting, it was enough to tolerate the bulls*** from the helmet-haired housewives, who all had really bad mullets,” Jasmin says.

But the big benefit to her – and scores of other Americans eager to go on the show – was the exposure, which for Jasmin helped her to demand more money for work away from the show.

On the day of her first appearance, she says she met her ‘boyfriend’ for “two seconds” before they went on stage and it was “really nerve-wracking”.

“When you walk out there’s a weird energy, your stomach drops to the ground,” Jasmin says. “You don’t know what to expect but you’re on TV, not only nationally but worldwide.

“You don’t think about the repercussions, like who’s going to see you. I looked like a deer in the headlights on my first time.”

Jasmin believes the legendary host, who died aged 79 of pancreatic cancer in 2023, had a cunning tactic to get guests to reveal everything.

“With Jerry, he was like someone’s uncle or grandfather,” she says. “That’s why so many people had no problem going on the show or spilling their deepest darkest secrets or kinks, and they felt comfortable telling him too.

“The audience was there to judge you, not him. They weren’t paid actors like us, they were bored housewives, unemployed losers and people who wanted to see a freak show.”

‘Nastiest fights’

The show, which drew up to eight million viewers at its peak, was famous for its on-stage fights.

So much so, that they had to hire security guards to break up the fiery clashes – but Jasmin doubts the authenticity of them.

“You had to sign a waiver before you went out on stage that said if you get into a fight then it’s on you and the show couldn’t be sued,” she explains.

“But people didn’t care, they just wanted to be seen so they did whatever it took including having the nastiest fights, ripping wigs off and whatever else it took to get airtime.

“They staged some fights. I wasn’t there to do that, I was there to promote myself and treated going on the show like a business.”

‘Bonkathon’

Jasmin, who was dubbed the “show’s sexiest guest”, filmed a ‘one-year on’ catch-up episode in 1995 to show how her life had gone after telling her ‘boyfriend’ she wanted to do porn.

In one brazen moment, she left the stage and sat on the lap of a thrilled male guest, who was beside his rather unimpressed girlfriend.

Who was Jerry Springer?

Jerry Springer was a broadcaster and former lawyer.

The TV icon was born on February 13, 1944, in London, United Kingdom.

Springer served as mayor in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio before successfully spearheading his eponymously named daytime show.

The Jerry Springer Show attempted to solve raucous disputes from feuding families and friends and first hit the airwaves in September 1991.

The program was the highest-rated daytime talk show in the United States at one point.

During this time, it raked in an eye-popping eight million viewers an episode before it came to an end in July 2018.

After 27 seasons and nearly 5,000 episodes, which were syndicated across the globe, The Jerry Springer Show was axed.

The legendary host died following a battle with pancreatic cancer in April 2023.

It was her third appearance in 1996 – where she boasted about having broken a sex record for performing ‘300 sex acts with 300 men in a 24-hour period’ in an adult film – that drew the most traction.

Jasmin claims she was told it was “the highest-rated episode” in the show’s history.

To a mixture of applause, excitable cheers and sounds of disgust, she told the audience: “I thought the most outrageous thing I could do in this lifetime was to have sex with 300 men, so I did it.

“Jerry, it’s made me the most famous porn star in America, I mean I didn’t go wrong, I loved it… The benefit is I’m making tonnes of money now, it was something extremely outrageous and I’m super famous.”

In Jasmin’s final appearance in 1997, she was confronted by a guest, who Jerry said “doesn’t like the movies you make” and proceeded to give her a verbal lashing. But all was not as it appeared.

“They would rile people up backstage and do things like that so they were ready to get the claws out on the show, they did that with the lady who ‘confronted’ me,” Jasmin recalls.

“In the break, she told me, ‘Jasmin, I’m a really big fan and always wanted to meet you so I had to take the opportunity’.

“The show would make people crazy and make them say crazy things. Once a lady with a four-year-old kid came up to me on the street and was very emotional.

I know the producers did shady dealings, but what do you expect? You can’t trust a producer, they are there for only one thing to bring in ratings

“She was using all of these curse words at me in front of the child. You get lots of odd comments too, one person told me I ‘must repent’ ‘must repent now!’”

Later Jasmin would reveal her record-breaking racy flick was “among the biggest cons ever pulled off in the porn business”.

She said there weren’t 300 men, only 30 who were “strategically placed and filmed” on set. And only 10 of them were able to perform sexually on the day.

Stunt double

The video bears similarities to one made by OnlyFans model Lily Phillips, 23, who claimed to have slept with 101 men in a day, back in October.

After in an interview, she explained through tears that it was “not like normal sex at all” and said she had to “disassociate” and felt “robotic” during the acts.

Despite her apparent struggles, Lily plans to have sex with 1,000 men in a night later this year and break the official world record, which is said to be held by Lisa Sparks, who bedded 919 men in a day in 2004.

While many have sympathy for the OnlyFans star, Jasmin claims the “numbers are always fudged in porn” and accuses her of hypocrisy for wanting pity while also announcing her next stunt.

Jasmin adds: “It was all crocodile tears. Just own it.”

Jasmin, who starred in more than 70 porn films, is now a professional wrestler including for Scotland’s Bleeding Gums WrestWrestling and hosts her own podcast Krazy Train with Jasmin St Claire.

Reflecting on her time on the show, she tells us there is “nothing I would change” and believes Jerry left behind a “remarkable legacy that can’t be duplicated” .

She believes there’s no way the show could return to air now due to use living in such “sensitive times”.

Jasmin adds: “They never gave me mental health checks for the show, it was a case of if you wanted one then you shouldn’t be on the show.

“If you don’t have the mental capacity to deal with the scrutiny, public or life in general, just stay indoors.

“I know the producers did shady dealings, but what do you expect? You can’t trust a producer, they are there for only one thing: to bring in ratings.

“For those complaining about The Jerry Springer Show, they knew what it was like and what the temperature of it was, if you can’t handle that don’t go on. It’s really that simple.”
