Aaron Rodgers opened up his 2024 NFL campaign with a brutal loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, and now that the team is preparing for week two, the odds are his ex-girlfriend Shailene Woodley is at the bottom of the list of his priorities.

The actress and the NFL MVP were a couple for about a year, beginning in February 2021, and they decided to call it quits in February 2022. There was quite a stir after their breakup, and why they broke up remained unknown for a while.

She finally revealed the reason for their breakup in an interview with Bustle during her new series Three Sisters. She dished out a ton of personal information, getting very vulnerable and emotional.

Woodley told Bustle that she had given the relationship to herself, adding, “I used to be a person who, if you crossed me and disrespected that, would continue to give and give. And now, when you cross me, I respectfully go, ‘Thank you so much for that information. Have a beautiful life. I wish you well.’ I’m not interested.”

Woodley continued by saying not only did her ‘Broken Heart’ cause the breakup, but it also helped her push through after the ordeal, saying, “Just a broken heart. A broken heart that healed and broke again.”

Woodley added that her relationship with the Pro Bowler changed her view of relationships, “It’s really taken me a lot of time to understand that it’s not on me to fix or heal or do anything about [a relationship] other than protect the deep care and love that I have for the world and for my people.”

The actress added, “Ultimately, that has helped me walk away without the need to understand why certain things didn’t play out the way that I may have desired them to.” If we’re being honest, Rodgers does do some pretty ununderstandable things.

Rodgers is most likely not paying any attention to this, but if one thing is for sure, we know the two are most likely completely different people.
