Strictly Come Dancing fans have rushed to social media to complain about the same thing just minutes into the start of the semi-final

Strictly Come Dancing fans issued the same complaint just minutes into the launch of the semi-final on Saturday, December 7.

Viewers were annoyed that ex-TOWIE star Pete Wicks has made it through to the penultimate week while other more superior dancers have already been eliminated.

Pete was competing against five other celebrities – Chris McCausland, Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill and Sarah Hadland for a place in next weekend’s final but some were already threatening to switch off if he gets through to the last episode.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer declared: “If pete doesn’t leave this week im actually never watching strictly again.”

While another said: “Well let’s go, although I’m sure the great voting public will let me down again,” reports the Mirror.

And yet another pressed: “Let’s stop messing about now, it’s time for Pete and Jowita to go.”

But others are in Pete’s corner with one saying: “I’ll be voting for Pete and Chris tonight. Strictly is an entertainment show. Those two men came into the show with no dancing experience and they for me, is what the show is all about. I really hope they both make the final.”

The semi-final opened with Tasha and her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec but fans believed they were in the “death slot”.

A viewer vented on social media: “Reading that Tasha is in the death slot… F*** THIS SHOW man. Why are they doing everything to protect Pete.”

Another questioned, “Tasha in the death slot? Interesting..” While another added: “Why have they dressed Tasha up stupidly? Hope they aren’t setting her up.”

Their performance came after the departure of Olympian Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe last week, which saw them in the dance-off against Tasha and Aljaz.
