The Dallas Cowboys fan base really needs to get some good news after they were all disappointed with Jerry Jones deciding to keep coach Mike McCarthy.

They may have potentially got some with the report today.

On Thursday, the Carolina Panthers completed virtual interviews with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. He also did an interview with the Tennessee Titans as well.

Now that Dan Quinn is available, it seems he may be the Cowboys coach who might leave the team.

However, Ed Werner of ESPN says that the team expects Quinn to return as the defensive coordinator if he is not hired as a head coach elsewhere.

It appears Quinn wants to be the guy, and if he cannot get what he wants, he’ll be back on the sidelines for the Dallas Cowboys for the 2024 season.

This time last year Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn was the talk of the town and the hottest potential head-coaching candidate in the NFL.

One year later and it seems he may be an afterthought with names like Jim Harbaugh, Pete Carroll, and Bill Belichick on the market.

Quinn is no longer the pick of the liter and could become more of a consolation prize if he exits Big D.
