The announcement coincided perfectly with the sixth anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album.

“Six years ago, I unleashed my first album, shattering records left and right! Can you believe it?! Now, six years later, I’m gearing up to drop the next chapter this year,” she exclaimed in her post, reminiscing about the monumental success of “Invasion Of Privacy,” which stormed onto the scene on April 6, 2018.

She proudly shared that the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200, selling 255K units in its first week, and earned her a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019 among six nominations.

The Bronx native also celebrated winning the 2019 BET Album Of The Year award for “Invasion Of Privacy,” highlighting its groundbreaking feat as the first female rap album to have every track certified platinum or higher by the RIAA.
