Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are catching a bit of heat for their behavior on Halloween.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Chiefs tight end had crime scene tape wrapped around his house while a security guard was posted on the property to let trick-or-treating kids know they were not home, although they were.

Apparently, Taylor and Travis weren’t all that keen on handing out candy. And their neighbors were not happy about it…

They’re not handing out candy, you believe that? Well, we know they’re lying,” one parent was quoted as saying. “Swifty is here.”

“I don’t get why he’s sitting in the car telling us nobody’s home, when clearly they are,” said another. “Why don’t they just not answer the door?”

Per Entertainment Tonight, the NFL star and the pop icon were planning to host friends at a Halloween dinner party at some point.

While some fans reckon they simply wanted privacy, others didn’t find them to be very good neighbors.

Kelce won’t be too bothered by this as he has more important things on his mind.

The Chiefs are playing the Dolphins in Germany this weekend, a game that follows an embarrassing loss to the Broncos in which the offense turned the ball over five times and Patrick Mahomes threw zero touchdowns.
