There are rumours that the Duchess of Sussex could follow in her husband Prince Harry’s footsteps by releasing her own account of life in the Royal Family.

Meghan Markle could be ready to “take off the gloves” and share more about her life as a working member of the Royal Family in a new tell-all memoir, a source has said.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, quit life as a royal in 2020 with her husband Prince Harry and moved across the pond to America.

Despite saying they are happy in their Montecito mansion, this hasn’t stopped the pair from speaking out about the Royal Family and making a number of accusations in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, their Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries and Harry’s memoir Spare.

Despite all this, a source close to the couple has said that Meghan could be set to reveal even more in a new tell-all memoir after the family were not invited to Balmoral this summer.

A source told Closer: “The talk among their friends is that it’s time to take the gloves off and do away with the diplomacy.

“There’s so much demand for Meghan to speak out, whether that’s in the form of another sit-down interview or even her own memoir. She has the potential to make an absolute fortune and clear up a lot of questions.”

The source said the memoir could be a “big tell-all from Meghan where she completely lays out her side of the story.”

The possibility comes just months after filmmaker Ulrike Grunewald, who is behind a controversial new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary, told Express.co.uk exclusively that the Duchess of Sussex may use her diaries to write a memoir.

Grunewald said: “We know that Meghan kept a diary during her days in Great Britain but if she writes a book about it will people believe what she is telling?”

Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, released early last year, was considered to be the final straw between him and his brother William after the memoir contained a number of accusations aimed at him.

Since the memoir was published, the brothers have not been on speaking terms, with William reportedly not set to call his brother on his 40th birthday tomorrow.

It is not certain whether Meghan will write a memoir or, if so, when it will be published.
Rumors continue to swirl about the possibility of Meghan Markle following in Prince Harry’s footsteps and releasing her own tell-all memoir. The tension between the brothers has reportedly escalated to the point where William is not expected to reach out to Harry on his 40th birthday. It remains to be seen whether Meghan will indeed write a memoir and if so, what revelations it may contain.
