INDIANAPOLIS — Adding up her annual salary, bonus and multiple major endorsements as a record-breaking rookie with the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark earned $11.1 million in 2024, making her the 10th highest-paid female athlete in the world.

Sportico released its annual rankings Wednesday, which revealed the15 highest-paid female athletes will earn an estimated $221 million in 2024, up 27% from last year. Eleven athletes made at least $10 million, compared with six in 2023.

Topping the list for the second straight year was tennis star Coco Gauff with $30.4 million from prize money and endorsements. Gauff is only the third woman in sports history to earn more than $30 million in one year, joining fellow tennis players Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams.

Clark, the lone basketball player on the list, was paid an annual salary of $76,535 by the Fever in 2024, but she made up the $10 million difference by signing more than 10 commercial deals.

Nike is Clark’s most lucrative endorsement, according to Sportico, an eight-year deal she signed in April worth more than $3 million a year on average. Other companies partnering with Clark are Gatorade, State Farm, Panini, Wilson, Hy Vee, Xfinity, Gainbridge and Lilly.
