CALL The Midwife’s Helen George and Olly Rix have drifted apart — after becoming close following splits from their partners.

Helen, who is Trixie Franklin on the BBC drama, and Olly, who played Matthew Aylward, have unfollowed each other on social media sites.

Olly, 39, also deleted a selfie with Helen, 40. In November last year, the on-screen lovers were spotted leaving his house in West London.

It came months after she announced her split from fellow Call the Midwife star Jack Ashton, 37. They have two children together.

Around the same time, Olly split from girlfriend Natasha Fagri.

But a source said Olly and Helen have now drifted apart. They added: “They were there for each other in the wake of their splits.

“But it seems they are no longer close and have made this clear by removing each other on social media.

“Olly even went one step further and deleted a picture of him and Helen from Instagram.”

In February, Olly had supported Helen in her West End play The King and I.

At the time he said Helen was “amazing and fantastic”.

Helen started re-following Olly on Instagram after The Sun asked her representative to comment.
