Dan Campbell is surely a betting man. He proved that during the NFC Championship game with some questionable calls in the second half.

As he has done all season, coach Dan Campbell turned a blind eye to the field-goal unit during a pair of crucial fourth-down situations in Sunday’s NFC championship tilt against the San Francisco 49ers, and it backfired on both occasions.

San Francisco ran up 27 unanswered points to win the game as the Lions could not get back the momentum.

After the game, Campbell could be seen walking with his head down as he made his way to the locker room.

The Lions blew a 17-point halftime lead on their way to a 34-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.

The game tied the 2012 Atlanta Falcons for the largest blown lead in NFC title game history.
