Coleen Rooney recently revealed the one piece of advice her husband, Wayne Rooney, gave her before she entered the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

According to Coleen, Wayne told her, “If you’re going to do it, just don’t quit.” This simple but powerful warning resonated with her throughout her time in the competition,

especially during the tough early days. Reflecting on her experience, Coleen admitted that by day three, she was seriously considering leaving the jungle.

The emotional toll and physical challenges were more difficult than she had anticipated, and she questioned whether she could handle it. However,

Wayne’s words kept her going, reminding her to push through and persevere.

Coleen’s admission about her struggles in the jungle came as a surprise to many, as she had always been known for her strong, confident persona.

However, the grueling conditions of the show took an unexpected toll on her. The isolation, the harsh living conditions, and the constant pressure to perform in challenges all contributed to her growing frustration. By day three, she felt overwhelmed, and leaving seemed like the easiest option. Despite this, Coleen found strength in the thought of her family and Wayne’s advice. She realized that if she could just hold on a little longer, the experience could turn into something meaningful.

As she continued in the jungle, Coleen’s resilience grew, and her mindset shifted. She began to embrace the challenges, rather than fight them. The harsh conditions became a backdrop for personal growth, and she slowly found a sense of calm and purpose. While the early days were difficult, Coleen’s determination to prove to herself—and to Wayne—that she could stick it out helped her push forward. She reflected on how her journey in the jungle had not only been about facing physical challenges but also about confronting her own limits and fears. Each day that passed, Coleen felt a sense of accomplishment, knowing that she had chosen to stay and face the adversity head-on.

The support from her family also played a crucial role in her decision to stay. Coleen admitted that the thought of her children and Wayne kept her motivated, especially when the going got tough. She spoke about how much she missed them and how they were always on her mind. Their encouragement, both through letters and messages of support, gave her the strength to continue. Coleen explained that this experience had allowed her to focus entirely on herself, something she rarely had the chance to do in her everyday life. It was an opportunity to reflect on her own journey and gain a new perspective on her life outside of the jungle.

By the time Coleen reached the later stages of I’m A Celebrity, she had completely turned her mindset around. What had initially seemed like an insurmountable challenge became a source of personal growth and empowerment. She was no longer the person who wanted to quit after day three, but someone who had learned to embrace the experience fully. Wayne’s advice, though simple, had been the catalyst for her perseverance. Looking back, Coleen admitted that the toughest moments in the jungle were also the most rewarding, and she was proud of herself for staying the course.
