I’M A Celeb star Coleen Rooney’s mum hailed her daughter’s Wagatha Christie sleuthing skills today as she landed in Australia.

Colette McLoughlin, 62, was not shocked by Coleen, 38, smelling a rat when the show’s late arrivals shacked up in the Jungle Junkyard.

She rumbled Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles – who were pretending to the other celebs they were slumming it while living in luxury – by spotting a “content look” on their faces.

After landing at Brisbane Airport with her husband Tony and Coleen’s two youngest sons, Colette said of her daughter’s detective work: “I’m not surprised at all. She’d figure anything out, yeah.”

She arrived with Coleen’s two youngest sons Kit, eight, and six-year-old Cass ahead of the first I’m A Celeb evictions.

Colette also revealed that one of Coleen and her footie legend husband Wayne’s four sons has been down in the dumps without his beloved mum around.

She said: “They’ve been really good, to tell you the truth.

“I think it’s because they’ve been able to see her.

“If they hadn’t been able to see her, it would’ve been different.

“One of them’s been really quiet and subdued.

Not much longer now.”

After leaving for Oz earlier this month, Coleen left two whiteboards filled with instructions on looking after her four kids while she is away

It was similar to a football tactics-style board which her Manchester United legend husband Wayne, 39, would draw up in his role as boss of Plymouth Argyle.

Colette said she would have got into trouble with Coleen for not following the strict rules she had laid out.

She said: “Oh, the whiteboard… I followed the whiteboard, all right.

“I’m glad to see the back of the whiteboard!”
