GK Barry was eliminated from I’m A Celebrity on Friday night as she and Alan Halsall were booted out in a double eviction
Tonight’s episode (Sunday 8 December) of I’m A Celebrity will mark the conclusion to an epic series as one of the three finalists, Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles are crowned king or queen of the jungle.
Oti Mabuse narrowly missed out on the final as she was eliminated in fourth place, while GK Barry, real name Grace Eleanor Keeling, and Alan Halsall departed on Friday night.
Internet sensation Grace has returned to social media for the first time since hopping back to civilisation as she took to Instagram on Saturday night.
Alongside a glam picture of herself, she penned: “I’m free. Thank you to every single one of you for all of your support, I’m feeling so overwhelmed (in a good way) so I’m going to take my time getting back on here but I can’t express how grateful I am.”
The podcast host put up a peace sign with her hands and ended the note with three red love hearts as she expressed her gratitude. Moments after her exit, Grace left hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly stunned as she made a cutting remark.
GK Barry has broken her social media silence
During her exit interview with hosts Ant and Dec, the duo mentioned the remaining celebrities were off to do the iconic Cyclone challenge ahead of the final on Sunday night to which GK quipped: “I’m fuming I didn’t get that! I’m fuming!”
The hosts then spoke about her bond with Reverend Richard Coles, asking if she’d like to see him win I’m A Celebrity 2024.
This prompted Grace to remark: “Rev has to win otherwise it’s a fix!”
Ant and Dec were left taken aback by this to which Ant responded: “It’s not a fix! How would it be a fix? People vote!” GK then added: “Rev’s got to win, he’s a man of God!”
The social media star left the jungle on Friday Fans at home were left in stitches as they flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions to her response.
One viewer said: “Otherwise it’s a fix” I LOVE GK BARRY #ImACeleb,” while another wrote: “What GK said…if Rev don’t win, it’s a fix!!! #ImACeleb”
A third commented: “NOT GK CALLING IT A FIX ON NATIONAL TV #ImACeleb,” while a fourth added: “If the rev doesn’t win then it’s a fix” GK PLEASE #ImACeleb.”
