Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is used to making critical decisions in the heat of the moment on the field, but now he has one of the more important ones he has ever faced.

However, when it comes to his family, he and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, work together on all the important choices.

The last one concerns selecting godparents for their third child, and the couple has chosen close friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for the role.

Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their third child as they are already parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Bronze, who will turn two this November.

The U.S. Sun revealed that Patrick and Brittany “want Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce” as the godparents of their soon-to-be-born baby, due early next year.

Their sources state Patrick and Brittany were “in absolute lockstep” about their choice and believed they were the perfect fit for this role.

This also gives insight into how close Kelce and Swift are. Despite what people might think, it appears their relationship will eventually move to the next step.

Will Patrick Mahomes And Travis Kelce Get Back On Track As They Once Were?

The 2024 season has been quite different for Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

The team is undefeated, but neither player has played up to previous standards.

Mahomes is currently ranked 17th in yards gained, with only 1,389 on 127 completed passes out of 187 attempts.

Patrick Mahomes is completing 67.9% of his passes and has more interceptions (eight) than touchdown passes (six).

Travis Kelce has not looked like himself in his age-35 season. He has just 245 yards receiving and zero touchdowns.
