The developers of the S2 Cognition test have admitted they got it wrong with C.J. Stroud following what was a brilliant first season in the NFL for the Houston Texans rookie.

Stroud and the Texans are still alive in the playoffs, though they’re likely to lose to the heavily favored Baltimore Ravens later today. Even so, going out to a near-perfect Ravens side led by Lamar Jackson would hardly be considered a blemish, especially as the QB already has one playoff win under his belt.

There was some controversy surrounding Stroud ahead of the 2023 NFL draft as, while he did get picked second overall, there were concerns over his low score on said test.

The creators have since admitted to the Wall Street Journal that they got it wrong with the QB and his grade should have never leaked to the public. They’re even claiming it was a “potentially invalid and an unreliable result.”

Given how sensational Stroud has been this season, the S2 Cognition test might lose major footing in the NFL as teams might consider it untrustworthy.
