LeBron recently revealed his plans for the day of Bronny’s upcoming USC debut
LEBRON James has opened up about son Bronny’s recovery from a cardiac arrest, saying it provided him with a different perspective on the importance of little things.
The NBA star, 38, got emotional as he was asked about pointing at Bronny during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 106-103 win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

Bronny, 19, watched his dad lead the Lakers to the In-Season Tournament semifinals from the stands at Crypto.com Arena.
And LeBron acknowledged the University of Southern California guard’s presence, pointing at him after hitting a huge 3 in the fourth quarter.
After the game, the 19-time NBA All-Star said it meant the world to have his son support him in a major clash after surviving a cardiac arrest in the summer.
“First of all, it’s not just Bronny at a game, it’s Bronny, period,” the Lakers forward said.
“To have the ability to be able to point at him and see him smiling and alive.
“It’s literally that simple, to have that moment with my son knowing the situation that happened earlier in the summer.
“Just to have that – I’m not saying I took it for granted before, but it puts everything in perspective for sure. That’s that.”
Bronny has received medical clearance to return to the court and make his USC debut.
“Bronny will have a final evaluation with USC staff this week, resume practice next week, and return to games soon after,” the James family said in a statement last week.
Since then, the 6-foot-4 guard has been participating in no-contact drills in practice as he regains his conditioning.
“I think he’s on the path to being ready to play very quickly,” Trojans coach Andy Enfield told ESPN earlier this week.
James suggested he could miss an upcoming Lakers game if it coincides with Bronny’s USC debut.
“Whenever he’s cleared and ready to have his first game, I already told my teammates that if they play on the same day we’re playing, I’m going to have to catch them the next game,” the NBA star told USA Today said on November 30.
“Family over everything. … But definitely got to see Bronny’s first game whenever he’s cleared and ready to go.”
