The Super Bowl logo conspiracy was debunked with the Chiefs and 49ers punching their tickets to Las Vegas with wins against the Ravens and Lions on Sunday. The two teams effectively put to bed a theory that the league had predetermined which teams would compete for the Lombardi trophy this year based on the color scheme of the Super Bowl logo.

When one conspiracy dies, another gets created.

Popular social media user Jay Cuda stated this week that the Chiefs are 19-1 in the past five years while playing games when the moon is in its waxing crescent phase.

This will occur on the night of Feb. 11th.

“the day of the super bowl is a waxing crescent moon,” Cuda tweeted.

On the other side, the 49ers are 15-15 in their last 30 games in such conditions.

Well, I guess that settles it. The Chiefs are going back to back.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champs in 19 years when they face the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. The Chiefs had a chance to do it three years ago, but lost 31-9 to Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If the Lunar Cycle is to be believed, then Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are set to make history.

The Chiefs will wear red uniforms in Super Bowl 58, doing so for the third time in four Super Bowls with Mahomes. The 49ers will wear their standard white uniforms in Super Bowl 58, ensuring that these two teams both will have the same looks as they did in Super Bowl 54 in 2020.
