THE Only Way is Essex star Saffron Lempriere has sparked concern after being pictured in a wheelchair at the airport.

The fan-favourite cast member was filmed making her way home from a luxury cast trip abroad.

Saffron looked sombre as she told her co-star Junaid Ahmed “I’m done”.

Filming her as she sat covered with a blanket, Junaid asked her: “What’s going on?” before she was wheeled off-camera by an unknown friend.

Junaid captioned the video he uploaded onto Instagram: “Only Saffron.. Off she goes.”

Now The Sun can reveal the reason why Saffron ended up in a wheelchair while working abroad.

A source told us: “Saffron tripped on a wedge and rolled her ankle while on set filming.

“She fears it could be broken, but is waiting to get home until she goes to hospital for a scan.”

The 32-year-old hax been filming a scene at a beach club for the ITVBe show’s 34th series.

The cast jetted off to Cyprus for a big-money trip staying at swanky 5-star Cap St George’s Hotel & Resort.

Prices start from £525 a night in July for the 5-star hotel, which is situated on the southwest coast.

The co-stars – including Amy Childs, Dani Imbert and Elma Pazar – are currently travelling back home from the trip.

During the holiday abroad, rumours have been swirling that Ella Rae Wise has rekindled her romance with Dan Edgar.

She previously opened up about the real reason their relationship faded the first time around after hooking up in Bali.

Ella says they were forced apart upon their return, by the salacious gossip mill in Essex.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Ella Rae said: “When we got home from Bali and when we’d finished filming, I’d still see him and we were pretty close.”
