Simon Cowell appeared on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning as he hunts to find a new boy band – but viewers were more distracted by his appearance
Simon Cowell’s face got Good Morning Britain fans talking – and not in a good way.
GMB fans were all left with the same thought about Simon’s recent appearance on the show as he embarks on a quest to discover new talent. The music tycoon is on a mission to assemble a fresh boy band that could potentially rival the success of One Direction.
But it was his own appearance that resonated more with viewers, who rushed to social media to discuss what had happened. One user posted: “He needs to lay off the Botox.”

Another noted: “It looks like #simoncowell has seen a ghost with the amount of Botox he’s had on his face.” A third enquired: “WTF has #SimonCowell done to his face!”

While another wondered: “@GMB what has Simon Cowell done to his face?”
Simon previously opened up about ditching facial fillers after his son Eric couldn’t stop laughing at his appearance. Chatting to The Sun, he confessed: “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.”

He went on: “Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
Simon also shared his change in perspective on cosmetic procedures, saying: “There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tonnes of water.”

Discussing his ambitions to form a new group, Simon kicked off by stating: “I’m looking for another band because there isn’t one. I mean there are K-Pop bands but in terms of UK bands like One Direction, there hasn’t been one in all that time.
“They don’t knock on your door so there is only one way of doing it, you have to go out in cities and hope that people will turn up and audition. We thought that we will document the whole thing so if it works or it doesn’t you will be able to see everything.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
