Nowadays, the War of the Chrises has waned off a lot. But once upon a time people hotly debated whether Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, or Chris Pine was the best Chris. Three of them are Marvel actors while Pine belongs to DC after starring in Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984.

Till today, no consensus has been reached regarding which Chris takes the crown among them all. After all, all of them are pretty great. But Hemsworth’s MCU co-star Natalie Portman has supplied compelling evidence to make him the frontrunner for that crown.

Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson appeared on the UK’s Capital FM for the promotions of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). There the Oscar-winning actress revealed that her co-star Chris Hemsworth was very considerate towards her. She revealed that the actor didn’t even eat meat for a kissing scene because she’s vegan. The actress said:
“He’s really nice. The day we had a kiss scene he didn’t eat meat that morning because I’m vegan. And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful. That’s not something I’m angry about or care about, but he was just being thoughtful. He’s just a very nice person.”

Tessa Thompson then complimented Hemsworth for this gesture because the actor had to eat meat to keep his hulking frame. She said, “I didn’t even know he could go without eating meat. He’s just like eating bison in the morning. That’s so sweet.” The actor didn’t have to stop eating meat to accommodate Portman’s interests, but the fact that he did shows how kind he is. Also, this isn’t the only time Portman has been charmed by Hemsworth.

Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth have worked in a total of 3 Thor films till now- Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Thor: Love and Thunder. The actress confessed that every time she was wowed by the talent of the Extraction actor.

The Black Swan actress gushed:
“It’s incredible to watch Chris’ talent. He’s just so agile, moving from serious scenes to extreme comedy. He has such incredible comedic talent. And he has such a quick brain for changing things, assimilating information, reacting in a creative way, and coming up with new ideas. He’s so committed and works so hard, and it’s really, really impressive to watch him work. I always have to remind myself that I have to act in a scene, and I can’t just be an audience.”
So is Chris Hemsworth the best Chris of them all? That’s still up for debate because Evans, Pine, and Pratt are all great actors and co-stars, but maybe the Brawny Australian is the best of them all for Portman.
