The Lancet medical journal reports that 5 million people annually succumb to causes linked to AMR, a figure projected to double by 2050. Prince William’s influence could prove instrumental in urging the global community to unite against this looming threat. In his address to senior international figures and UN representatives, Prince William underscored that microbial resistance affects everyone, regardless of wealth or origin.
