THE TRAITORS star Charlotte Chilton has torn into singer Conor Maynard — saying he turned against her when she told him she was pregnant with their child.

The 32-year-old said: “Conor is a real-life traitor who betrayed me — I despise him.”

She said that after her revelation he turned into an immature man-child who she claims disowned their unborn baby girl in a confrontation that left her devastated.

Charlotte said she ended up angry and stressed.

At one point she was afraid she would miscarry. She added: “I think Conor is a narcissist.”

She was introduced to TikToker Conor by The Traitors winner Harry Clark following a champagne-fuelled wrap party for the second series of Claudia Winkleman’s BBC murder mystery game.

She was still feeling fragile after splitting up from her wife of seven years but thought the 31-year-old R U Crazy star was a gentleman.

Speaking exclusively to the Sun on Sunday, Charlotte said: “We had a great night together and even sent Harry a selfie of us in bed saying, ‘Successful match’.

“We kept in touch, confided in each other and planned to meet up. But after I told him I was pregnant that apparently decent man changed.

“He turned on me, I felt pressured into keeping his identity as the father a secret.

“He told me, ‘I’m not ready to be a dad. It’s nothing against you, Charlotte, but even if we’d been together three years, I would be the exact same. I do not want to have a child. That’s why I haven’t got a dog’.

“It was so stressful that doctors twice put me on bed rest. I thought I was going to miscarry.”

After weeks of feeling unable to speak out, she took to Instagram earlier this month to take back control and named MTV Award winner Conor as her baby’s father.

It has led to some of his former partners making contact with Charlotte and a fallout erupting between some of the cast members of The Traitors’ second series, which aired this January.

Her estranged wife, Laura, has even claimed Charlotte was not single when she filmed The Traitors or when she slept with Conor.

Charlotte said: “That is simply not true. And, as for Harry, I’m disappointed, he stopped talking to me the day that I told Conor I was pregnant and even removed himself from our Traitors WhatsApp group.”

The bubbly recruitment consultant from the West Midlands entered The Traitors on a whim after her marriage to Laura broke down following seven agonising miscarriages and failed IVF.

‘A bit vulnerable’

She became known for her striking red lipstick and was finally banished in episode nine with Harry, 22, being crowned the winner and scooping £95,000 by betraying his co-star Mollie Pearce.

On January 26, the day she conceived her baby with Conor, Charlotte had started drinking pink fizz at 10am with Dermot O’Leary on This Morning.

That evening she attended the wrap party at the BBC Studios in London’s White City along with host Claudia and drank more champagne.

Later Charlotte, who wore a red Jessica Rabbit-style leather dress headed to celebrity club Raffles with some of the cast.

They included Harry and his long-term girlfriend, 23-year-old Anna Maynard, who is Conor’s younger sister and the presenter of CBBC show Got What It Takes.

Pansexual Charlotte, now five months pregnant with daughter Penelope, said: “Harry told me his friend fancied me but I didn’t actually know who Conor was.

“When I met him he acted like a real gentleman. He escorted me to the ladies’, watched my bag, bought me champagne.

“I was a bit vulnerable after splitting from Laura and wasn’t looking for anything to happen but he won me over.

“We spoke for hours and I opened up to him a lot. He was funny and attentive.”

At about 3am they headed to Conor’s nearby apartment.

Charlotte said: “One thing led to another and I ended up spending the night with him.

“We didn’t use protection. He didn’t want to but I thought he’d been careful. The next morning we sent Harry the selfie and he messaged Conor saying, ‘You’re a naughty boy, aren’t you?’.

“I liked Conor. He played me his new album. We hung out.

“He showed me songs he was writing, too.”

The pair stayed in touch with video calls and WhatsApps.

Charlotte said: “We had long conversations. I even spoke to him about an unhappy past relationship I’d had, the miscarriages, he didn’t seem like an idiot. Then.”

But six weeks later Charlotte missed her period and picked up a 50p pregnancy test at the supermarket.

She said: “I was flabbergasted as I have polycystic ovaries which means it is hard to get pregnant anyway and I truly believed I would miscarry like I had so many painful times before.

“But as the pregnancy continued and I took further tests and saw my GP, I realised I had to do the right thing and tell him.”

Conor, whose younger brother Jack, 29, was kicked off I’m a Celeb’s 2017 series over racist and homophobic tweets, reacted as Charlotte had expected, saying: “What have we done? What are we going to do?”

He even said: “I only said to one of my mates the other day that I need to get my sperm tested as I’ve never got anybody pregnant before.”

When they spoke the next day, Charlotte told him how scared she was of another miscarriage.

She said: “But then I heard absolutely nothing from him.

“A month later I went for a scan so sent him a picture saying the baby was healthy. I think I said, ‘It’s only a blob… but the cutest blob I’ve ever seen’. He eventually came back with, ‘It is a lot to take in’.

“I felt abandoned and alone. I had a breakdown. I poured myself a large glass of wine and thought, ‘That’s it, I’m getting wrecked. I don’t care. I can’t do this. I can’t lose another baby’.

“And I messaged him, blasting him saying how I didn’t want my baby to be hated by its own father.

“Conor rang the next day and berated me for being emotional.”

During their final conversation, Charlotte assured Conor she wanted nothing from him and that he had nothing to lose.

She said: “He didn’t want me to tell anyone because he wasn’t ready to be a dad. It was immature and selfish. He was screwing with my head, my emotions.”

Eventually, he messaged her saying she should only contact him if news of the baby was made public.

She said: “He told me, ‘This is your miracle baby. It is not mine. He ended the text, ‘Hope you’re all good, Charlotte x’.”

Charlotte, who has now moved to the Cotswolds and set up a recruitment business, says she took back control only when she named Conor in her Instagram video.

She said: “I was not going to allow my baby to be some dirty secret. I am now looking forward to my future with Penelope.

“It would appear that Harry and Conor suit each other as friends because they are both traitors.

“I don’t feel Conor deserves my respect. And my daughter will probably feel the same. But that is a decision that she will make for herself when she is old enough.”
