Britney Spears has surely surprised the world with her bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me. It will contain some revelations about her past relationship with Justin Timberlake whom she dated from 1998 to 2002. However, she is not the only one with bombshell secrets as the latter once talked about holding something that he didn’t want to make public.

In the early 2000s, both the artists were rising to prominence thus becoming one of the hottest couples in the entertainment business. However, their relationship came to quite a bitter end with many speculations continuing to revolve around the industry for years. Just when the former is ready to share her life chapter with the world through her memoir, an old interview is making rounds on the Internet.

In a 2006 resurfaced interview, Justin Timberlake talked about his former flame, Britney Spears which surely seemed like he had something on her. Her fan account took to X where he told journalist Robert Haskell, 
“If I [were] writing an article about her, I would not be able to fight the urge to write every dirty thing about” her. 
Meanwhile, elsewhere, he commented, 
“I don’t know that person anymore. I’m not sure I knew her before.”
 This interview seemed to have happened after his song, Cry Me A River ignited major controversy about the Toxic singer cheating on him. 

Back in a GQ interview via CBS News, the NSYNC frontman addressed how the Gimme More singer handled her breakup stating, 
“I felt like she had a couple of opportunities to just sort of stick up for me, and she didn’t,” he said. “Which is fine. But at that time, you know, I fought back, and that’s the way I fought back. I used my mind. I came up with a song.”
Things surely would have sparked further interest among the fan community as Spears’s excerpt revealed shocking details when she was with Timberlake. 

Britney Spears’s Bombshell Confession About Her Relationship With Justin Timberlake

In a new excerpt obtained by PEOPLE from her upcoming memoir, she made a bombshell confession about being pregnant with his child. She revealed, 
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.”
She further revealed that her former beau was unhappy with her pregnancy as they were quite young to become parents. 
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
She further asserted in the memoir that she would have taken a different decision had it been only up to her. 
“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
After breaking up with him, she briefly married Jason Alexander and then tied the knot with Kevin Federline. The duo shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. She exchanged vows with Sam Asghari last year but they called it quits this year. 

Meanwhile, The Woman in Me will be released on October 24.
