Toscano-Anderson, a small forward, appeared in 22 games with the Utah Jazz during the 2022-23 season.

The Mexican-American averaged 3.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

And Toscano-Anderson originally started the season with the Los Angeles Lakers and played 30 games with the team.

He also played in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors from 2019-21.

Juan won an NBA title in his last season with the Warriors.

The 30-year-old appeared in a career-high 73 regular season games during the team’s triumphant run.

Before his NBA days, Toscano-Andeson got his professional basketball start in Mexico’s LNBP league in 2015.

He was a two-time LNBP champion in 2017 and 2019 and was also named most valuable player of the league in 2018.

Toscano-Anderson will now be back to play basketball in his home country.

“I am very excited about this part of my journey because Mexico is where I began my professional career in 2015,” he said, via the Capitanes official website.

“I have been able to embrace my culture during these years and I hope to continue building the legacy.

“I am very excited and grateful to Capitanes for giving me this opportunity to connect with my people again.

Toscano-Anderson held multiple workouts in the Warriors’ facility during the offseason.

A deal, however, would never be handed out to the 30-year-old.

In his NBA career, Toscano-Anderson averaged 4.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 191 games.
