EX-NBA shooting guard Nick Young has become the head coach of the Enemies, a BIG3 team he’s captained for the last three years.

But the former Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors star, 38, isn’t done hooping as he’s just signed a deal to play in Macau.

Nicknamed Swagy P, Young has had a storied NBA career.

The ex-USC standout spent his first four full seasons with the Washington Wizards after they drafted him with the No. 16 overall pick in 2007.

During that time, the 6-foot-7 guard emerged as a talented scorer with a reliable 3-point shoot and the ability to create off the dribble.

In 2010-11, he averaged a would-be career high in scoring – 17.4 points per game while knocking down 38.7 percent of his 3s – in addition to 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

The following season, the LA Clippers traded for him as they chased the title in the Lob City era.

Young left in free agency a few months later – but would soon return to Los Angeles.

In 2013, the guard signed a four-year, $21.5million contract with the Lakers

There, he got to partake in Kobe Bryant’s farewell tour and made franchise history by recording seven four-point plays in a single season.

He also had a loud fallout with D’Angelo Russell after the Lakers rookie caused Swaggy P’s split from rapper Iggy Azalea.

In 2018, Young won a championship ring after a season with the Warriors.

Although he’s been absent from the NBA since December 2018, the guard played 3×3 basketball in Ice Cube’s BIG3 after joining the Enemies in 2021.

He led the Enemies to a championship this year, beating NBA icon Joe Johnson and his Triplets in the finals at the O2 Arena in London.

On October 11, the BIG3 announced that Young would replace Gilbert Arenas as the Enemies’ head coach with Jordan Crawford taking over as captain in 2024.

The announcement came just a few weeks after he signed with the Macau Black Bears in a return to five-on-five basketball.

Young will play for the Black Bears at a hoops tournament in Macau between October 27-28.
