Fox News anchor Julie Banderas sensationally announced she is getting a divorce on live television before slamming Valentine’s Day, claiming she ‘didn’t get s**t’ when she was married.

The mother of three, 49, hinted at her surprise announcement on Twitter just hours ahead of Thursday night’s show, writing: ‘Tune into @gutfeldfox tonight at 11pm ET. I have a little announcement at the end of the show. (During the Valentine’s Day segment ironically).’

Banderas was seen laughing when host Greg Gutfeld asked if she was ‘going to get anything for Valentine’s Day’ and if her relationship was ‘over.’

‘F**k Valentine’s Day,’ she replied, as she sat coolly with her arm propped on the back of the chair. ‘Yeah, it’s stupid. Even when I was married I didn’t get s**t for Valentine’s Day…well, I’m getting a divorce, I’m going to go ahead and say it right here for the very first time.

‘Congratulations are in order, if you know me, you’d clap…That was breaking news, right there,’ the 18-year Fox veteran joked, who married Andrew Sansone, 55, in 2009.

Banderas went on to call Valentine’s a ‘Hallmark holiday.’

‘It’s stupid, it’s absolutely ridiculous,’ she said, before dishing out advice to the men in the audience about how to present their significant others with flowers.

‘By the way, guys, if you are going to get your girl flowers, don’t bring them to her in a box, that’s the only advice I’ve got for you,’ she said. ‘If you come to me in a box, you better be dead.’

Banderas’ social media pages are often filled with photos of her children – Addison, Avery, and Andrew – doing various activities, including her daughter Avery singing. But little is seen of Sansone.

She announced their split on her Twitter page on December 9, saying the financial advisor was going to be her ‘soon to be ex’, in response to a fan telling her the couple had left them in ‘stitches.’

Banderas appeared on Fox News’ Outnumbered today and encourages audience members to ‘celebrate everything’ during a closing segment about how parties could help people.

‘I’ve always said…laughter is the best medicine. And I believe laughter with friends is even better,’ she said, as she dodged any mention of celebrating her divorce announcement.

However, she appears to not done talking about her divorce, as she has replied to several fans on Twitter following the announcement.

It seems the anchor, who appeared on Fox’s Outnumbered today, is not done talking about her divorce, as she has replied to several fans on Twitter following the announcement

She posted a text conversation with her friend Ray P., who wrote to her saying: ‘Hey Jules! Not sure what I got you for your wedding gift, but I’d like it back now.’

She replied back: ‘Lolololol.’

However, Ray jokingly replied: ‘Wait – no lols – check the gift registry and gimme it back.’

‘I love my friends,’ she wrote on Twitter.

Another user said: ‘You’re not an adult until you have been divorced once. Good luck going forward, in the end, you’ll wish you had done it sooner.’

Banderas replied: ‘Yeah, like 13 years ago.’

Banderas and Sansone were married in 2009 at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City when they were aged 35 and 42, respectively.

Sansone’s social media is private, outside of his business Facebook account. He is a financial advisor for Allied Wealth Partners, which ‘provides financial security for individuals and businesses in the forms of insurance.’

He joined the company in March 2014 and was awarded the Jack Langdon New Advisor of the Year Award in 2016 for his excellence in financial services, according to the company’s website.

His passion for wealth management comes after his father died at the early age of 47 and did not have a financial plan put into place, the website said.

According to his biography, Sansone enjoys ‘reading, snowboarding, golfing, boating, and professional napping’ and resides in Manhattan with his wife and children. It is unknown if the separated spouses are currently sharing a home.

‘So… How ya doin?’ one user hilariously wrote.

Patrick McNulty wrote: ‘Nice to know that you are single again. Maybe us regular folks have a chance.’

Another posted a photo of himself at the gas pump, perhaps showing the apple of his eye that he has money to spend, writing: ‘Sorry about the D-word. 1 door closes and another opens. You’re in my prayers precious sister!’

One woman hyped up the Fox veteran, writing: ‘You were too hot for your husband anyway.’
