North West is fast becoming a standout fashionista in her own right after rocking out in a series of designer items that has been delighting fans this year.

Making it clear she takes after her fashion-loving parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the nine-year-old has been making headlines consistently in recent months as she starts to outshine her family members when it comes to clothing.

Last weekend, the TikTok-loving pre-teen dropped jaws as she attended a Los Angeles Lakers game with her mother in a $20,000 jacket.

Indeed, North cut a typically stylish display in the black and yellow leather jacket from the Palace Skateboards and Gucci collaboration.

She appeared to team the item with Balenciaga jeans, Nike trainers and a Lakers jersey as she cheered on aunt Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson.

However, it’s just one of the many times this year that the pre-teen has stepped out in clothing that highlight just how impressive her wardrobe is already.

2023 started with North continuing to dominate TikTok with a host of quirky videos starring her mother, friends and other family members.

However, the star also gave the first insight into her sartorial prowess as she casually flaunted a $6,000 crystal pink phone purse in a Valentine’s Day clip.

Lip-synching to the song Boy’s A Liar by Pink Pantheress, North was wearing head-to-toe pink in keeping with the theme of the day.

To complete the look, she carried the pink Judith Leiber purse in hand from her mother’s extensive collection as well as $290 Dior mask sunglasses.

Kanye’s eldest child also rocked a $95 patterned long-sleeve pink top from KNWLS London paired with pink cargo jeans from Fashion Nova.

She added $130 chunky pink Moon Boots and a sparkly belt to complete the fun look.

Just days later, her mother shared throwback snaps of the family winter trip to Aspen in which it was revealed that North had worn a nearly $600 outfit for skiing fun with her loved ones.

According to DaskKids Closet, the pre-teen was styled in a $298 metallic silver puffer jacket from the Olivia Kim x Nike collaboration, teamed with white leather trimmed gloves by Bogner.

In March, North took the time to transform into rap star Ice Spice, and in doing so she rocked a popular brand, Juicy Couture.

She teamed a pearly white velour hoodie from the company with matching track pants. The total for her fancy dress moment came to more than $200.

By April, North was ready to showcase her style overseas as she put on a typically unique display during her trip to Tokyo, with mother Kim and cousin Penelope Disick.

North showed she’s got the same expensive taste as her famous parents as she sported a $3,500 pink crystal-encrusted Prada handbag.

She teamed the expensive accessory with an oversized green T-shirt and a pair of swirl-patterned flares.

The stylish star then elevated her height in a pair of black platform sandals and hid her eyes behind pink-tinted sunglasses.

It’s not the only designer bag she’s flaunted on the trip, displaying two more while visiting a Hello Kitty theme park.

North toted a Hello Kitty x Judith Leiber crystal clutch that retails for $895 and an Olympia Le-Tan bag shaped like a milk carton worth $905.

As May approached all eyes were on Kim to see what she would wear for the annual Met Gala.

However it was North who started to dominate headlines as she stepped out with her mother in a series of vintage Chanel items – in nod to the this year’s theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

When stepping out with Scott Disick and Penelope, North was pictured carrying a $3,500 black and gold Chanel mini vanity purse as they made their way out of the Ritz Hotel in New York City.

She completed her look with a black Chanel jacket with pink trim as well as rocking jeans and chunky black boots.

On the night of the Met Gala, North was unable to walk the red carpet or attended the event. However, she still stepped out on theme as she escorted her mother to the fashion ball. 

The tween wore a vintage Chanel jacket and a pair of slightly distressed blue jeans, while she also carried a conch shell-shaped clutch.

Just days later, Kim posted glamorous snaps of herself and North in matching Chanel outfits which saw them dressed in head-to-toe black items.

‘It’s North’s world,’ Kim, who boasts a staggering 355 million followers on the social media platform, wrote, adding: ‘I’m just in it.’

North sported a short sleeve midriff jacket and black shredded high-waisted bootcut jeans, paired with a gold chain belt.

The nine-year-old pulled her look together with Chanel frames and her beloved mini vanity purse also from the high-fashion brand.

Elsewhere, North has also made style statements in never-released items such as a vintage bomber jacket from her dad’s former streetwear brand.

In July 2022, the youngster showcased her already effortless style when she heading to the Dior Homme Menswear Spring Summer 2023 show in Paris with her mother.

She could be seen rocking the bright blue garment from Kanye’s now defunct noughties Pastelle brand – with items from the collection now so rare that earlier this year a jacket from the brand was on sale for a whopping $10,000.

With no expense spared on North’s ensemble, the adorable youngster also toted a mini Balenciaga bag and hard wedged crocs from the Spanish fashion line.
