Reportedly the eighth—yes, eighth—home in his portfolio.

You know the drill. It’s a celebrity home—which means it’s probably somewhere in California, in a gated community by the valley or beach. Not saying that Hollywood has a rather monolithic taste in real estate, but hey, after a few house tours, and all star-studded abodes start to blend together into some marbled, all-neutral, infinity pool-bearing haze.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s new home, a $15.7 million mansion in Hidden Hills, is the epitome of the contemporary Hollywood aesthetic. Built last year, the estate comprises two storeys and spans over 10,000 square feet, tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, with views overlooking the San Fernando Valley. Listings describe the interior as “Napa Modern”, which is pretty much code for open-living, natural light and plenty of wood.

Cynicism aside though, any real estate from the perspective of a Sydney-sider is aspirational, and boy, is this a piece of real estate. The house’s six bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms—and the master bedroom upstairs comes with a fireplace, couple’s dressing rooms, and a coffee bar. (The sinks are a particular design stand-out here—we would also like a black marble counter.) Elsewhere in the property, double-height ceilings and entryways lie in between a variety of amenities—a games room, a gym, a velvet at-home cinema. Outside, a full-sized tennis court lies adjacent to a barbecue, stone loggias and—you guessed it—an infinity-edged pool.

Below, look inside Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s very expansive $15.7 million Hidden Hills estate.
