I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left in stitches as former Strictly star Oti Mabuse shared an amusing anecdote about her wedding location. In the latest episode of the ITV show, campmates had the chance to secure letters from loved ones by working out phrases mouthed by their co-stars.

The stars had to decipher these messages while in the Bush Telegraph, each with a strict two-minute limit to earn their prize. However, confusion struck when Dancing on Ice sensation Oti struggled to recognise the words “aero island”.

Initially puzzled in conversation with her jungle companions, she suddenly realised: “It was where we got married!” referencing to her husband Marius Iepure. This blunder sparked hilarity among fans on X, which used to be Twitter.

Viewers couldn’t hold back their giggles, with one posting: “Oti forgetting where she got married is so funny #imaceleb,” while another commented: “Not Oti forgetting where she got married. Looks like the jungle’s messing with her memory! #imaceleb.”

Others chimed in with laughter, relieved that despite the mix-up, all celebrities received their heartfelt letters, reports the Mirror.

“Oti forgetting where she got married is literal queen type behaviour and typical Oti at her finest #imaceleb,” one fan chuckled. Another viewer agreed: “These passwords are more entertaining than the actual letters from home. Oti forgetting where she got married and finding out Wayne proposed to Coleen in a petrol station.”

Coleen Rooney was selected to read Oti’s letter from her husband, Marius, which stated: “First of all, our baby is fine. We have had the best time watching how beautiful and kind you are and how you spread that positive South African energy with this amazing group of people.”

Marius went on to say: “When you laugh we laugh, when you cry, we cry and when you eat cockroaches we eat the best food we can get, just to balance it out! Limitless love Little Oti and Marius.”

Oti and Marius have been married since 2014 after meeting in Germany, and share one daughter together.
