Tom Brady into broadcasting

Kelce and his brother, Chiefs star Travis, host the ultra-popular ‘New Heights’ podcast, while Jason also filled in on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football during his bye week this season.

Jason Kelce appeared on the Thursday Night Football broadcast for Bears-Panthers last year

‘When you see him talking in his podcast, you see someone very good at talking in a microphone and being very straightforward about his opinions,’ a source told The SunIf Jason does decide to wade into broadcasting, he’d be following in the footsteps of the recently retired Tom Brady, who will begin as an NFL analyst with Fox Sports this coming fall.

Brady signed a reported 10-year, $375million contract with the network after calling time on his legendary playing career.

Other ex-players who have recently made successful jumps into broadcasting include ex-Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who will be on the call on Sunday’s Super Bowl, as well as Greg Olsen, who will be Brady’s colleague at Fox.

Additionally, former Lions wideout Nate Burleson parlayed his football analysis with CBS into an additional co-hosting gig on news show ‘CBS Mornings,’ while Michael Strahan previously took a similar route to end up on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America.’

Kelce could be entering the broadcasting space at the same time as Bill Belichick, who recently departed the Patriots after 24 seasons.
