Jason Kelce admitted he is ‘almost a month late’ with his wife, Kylie Kelce’s, anniversary present, as the couple celebrated six years of marriage in April.

Jason admitted the delay in a present on this week’s episode of ‘New Heights’,  with an explanation of him being busy because of the podcast’s live show in Cincinnati last month.

The now-retired Eagles legend also recently joined the Monday Night Football crew, with discussions likely taking a long time to become final.

Jason’s younger brother and podcast co-host, Travis Kelce, suggested his sibling should make Kylie a sword to make up for lost time.

Travis has publicly dated 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift since last September. He did not speak on whether he tried to get the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer a sword as a gift.

‘I mean, I don’t think she’d be into it,’ Jason said of getting Kylie a sword as a present. ‘Right now, a sword is definitely better than what I’ve currently gotten her.’

‘Now I gotta get it to Kylie before this episode airs on Wednesday. So I kind of (need to) move fast on this sword,’ Jason added.

With Mother’s Day also on the horizon, Kelce will have to double up on the gifts. The couple has three daughters: 4-year-old Wyatt, 3-year-old Elliotte, and 1-year-old Bennett.

Jason Kelce’s typical Mother’s Day gift to Kylie are ‘hydrangeas, some type of flowers, chocolates and a card.’

Kylie has not disclosed whether Jason met his self-imposed deadline of getting her an anniversary gift by the podcast’s release.

Jason and Kylie were married in April 2018, two months after the Eagles won the Super Bowl over a Tom Brady-led Patriots team.
