Another week, another roundup of injuries for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys’ losing streak increased this weekend after losing 27-21 to the Atlanta Falcons, leaving a negative record of 3-5.

That was the least of the team’s concerns after what happened to Dak.

The team lost quarterback Prescott for the bulk of the fourth quarter due to a hamstring injury.

The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback had an MRI on Monday to determine the degree of the injury, and according to NFL Media, the results indicated a more serious injury than initially feared.

Now, Dak Prescott is expected to miss multiple weeks.

After he injured his hamstring during Sunday’s loss to Atlanta, Prescott told reporters: “I felt something pull. I felt something I’ve never felt.” What he felt now will sideline him “several weeks.”

Last season, he threw for 4,516 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Prescott has thrown for 1,978 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions so far in 2024.

The Dallas Are Considering Placing Dak Prescott On Injured Reserve

A season that was already trending downward for the Cowboys got even bleaker Sunday.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Dak Prescott will miss “multiple games” after injuring his hamstring against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Prescott went down with the injury at the end of the third quarter.

Now that he may miss multiple weeks, the team is thinking about placing him on injured reserve.
