James just led the Lakers to a historic feat

NBA icon Kevin Garnet was not having it when Paul Pierce said LeBron James isn’t a top-five player in the league anymore.

The retired 6-foot-11 center slammed his ex-Boston Celtics teammate as he started mentioning names of the current NBA players he considers better than the Los Angeles Lakers star.

Garnett, 47, and Pierce, 46, clashed on the former’s KG Certified podcast.

Together with Tony Allen and tennis star Nick Kyrgios, they watched the Lakers beat the Indiana Pacers in the In-Season Tournament championship game on Saturday.

As the game reached the second quarter, Kyrgios asked if LeBron, 38, was still among the best five NBA players.

Pierce started shaking his head.

“What? LeBron ain’t top five in the league?” Garnett asked.

“Name five other players better than LeBron right now.”

Pierce quickly named Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid.

“No, no — I ain’t picking none of these n****s over LeBron,” Garnett said while appearing to get more and more irritated.

Pierce added he had Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum ahead of James as well with Kyrgios — a big Celtics fan — lauding the 10-time NBA All-Star for his last pick.

“Shut up,” The Truth continued. “Please, stop with this nonsense.”

Then, Garnett went off.

“You get your garbage a** out of here,” the 2004 NBA MVP said. “What the f**k is you talking about, n***a?

“You act like you don’t even know basketball.”

Garnett added: “You’re talking LeBron, n***a. 66,000 minutes, n***a. Respect.

“N***a 38 and still doing it.  The f**k is you talking about?”

James scored 24 points and logged 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals against the Pacers, helping the Lakers become the first-ever winners of the NBA Cup.
