Kylie Kelce has revealed is still waiting to get her new cat, despite joking that she would adopt one without husband Jason’s permission in response to his recent boozy antics in Buffalo.

Kelce made her comments in response to Jason saying on their New Heights podcast that he ‘wasn’t asking permission’ when he warned her he would jump out the window of their VIP suite when they were cheering Travis on vs. Buffalo Bills.

‘I’m not asking permission, I’m doing this,’ Jason said of his exchange with his wife, while Travis erupted with laughter. Kylie then quoted it back to him in the comments saying: ‘The exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat.’.

But now, in an interview with Glamour, Kelce admitted she is holding off adding a new addition to the family – for now.

‘I have not gotten a cat yet,’ Kelce said. ‘But I have had conversations with multiple people who, when the time comes and Jason and I are in agreement (will give them one).

‘Because ultimately, I would never actually get a cat without his approval – I have a long list of people who are willing to supply us with the feline.’

Jason famously celebrated his brother’s first of two touchdowns vs. the Bills by taking off his shirt and jumping into the stands and necking a beer with stunned fans.

It was the same night that he and Kylie met Taylor Swift in person, with the demands of his own football season with the Philadelphia Eagles keeping them apart up to now.

Kylie’s desire to adopt a cat first became public knowledge when she teased brother-in-law Travis Kelce about being a ‘cat person’ after he started dating Swift. The popstar has previously raved about cats and is a proud owner of three.

On an episode of the New Heights podcast, Kylie urged Travis to help convince his brother to green light having a cat added to their family of five.

‘I don’t want you to send a cat,’ Kylie clarified. ‘I just want you to get on my team here.’

While she it yet to have her wish granted, Kylie and Jason are happily raising their three young daughters; Wyatt, Elliote and Bennett.

The pair have also been enjoying Jason’s offseason by supporting the Chiefs alongside Swift and Jason’s parents Donna and Ed. They are expected to be at the Super Bowl to support Travis and the Chiefs against the 49ers in Las Vegas.
