Brooks kept his feud with James going in the Houston Rockers’ loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday

NBA fans couldn’t believe LeBron James had drawn a technical foul after bumping his shoulder into Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks.

The two NBA stars got into a minor scuffle in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 105-104 win on Sunday.

The bad blood between James, 38, and Brooks, 27, has been well-documented.

And it flared up again as the Lakers hosted the Rockets to continue the season series, which Houston led 1-0 entering the game.

Brooks fouled James as the four-time NBA champion was on a drive into the basket off Anthony Davis’ screen early in the third quarter.

After the whistle, LeBron threw the ball away before shoving his nemesis in the chest.

The 19-time All-Star made minimal contact with Brooks, but the officials ruled it was enough to call the seventh tech as a Laker.

But a large number of NBA fans didn’t like the call.

“This is why basketball sucks. You can’t even touch someone without a whistle. Take me back to the 90’s please!” one wrote.

“These officials are making the NBA so soft,” another added.

“NBA gotta chill with these techs man wth was,” a third said.

“This is an embarrassing technical lol,” one wrote.

Brooks started feuding with James last year, calling the NBA icon “old” during the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

The then-Memphis Grizzlies star also hit the Lakers forward in the groin during Game 3, leading to his ejection from the game.

Brooks picked up where he left off in 2023-24, vowing to “lock up” James before the Rockets beat the Lakers 128-94 earlier in November.

And ahead of Los Angeles’ win on Sunday, the outspoken wing said he didn’t regret the comments he made about LeBron last year.

“No, I still feel the same way,” he told Fox Sports.

James secured the 105-104 win for the Lakers with a late free throw, ending the clash with 37 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

It was an eventful night at Crypto.com Arena as a fan seemingly suffered a serious injury while attempting a $55,000 halfcourt shot during the game.
