LOVE Island’s Tom Clare has hit back at trolls saying he’s “jealous” over his best mate Casey O’Gorman’s new friendship with love rival Callum Jones.

Manchester-born Callum, 27, is stealthily moving in on Tom’s best friend Casey, as the pair having been hanging out together more often and even holidayed together in Las Vegas.

Some fans have joked that Tom, 24, has stolen Callum’s ex Molly Smith, so now he’s nicked his best mate Casey as revenge.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Tom opened up about Casey and Callum’s new friendship and said: “Callum’s not stolen my mate, me and Casey are always going to be best mates.

“My plan was always to move back up north because of my family and friends and football and just so happens that I met Molly, who was up here, which is a bonus for me.

“I’m seeing Casey tomorrow, we talk everyday, I always ring him, he always rings me.

“And there is no awkwardness with me and Callum at all, we get on.”

Tom said he’s now looking to the future with Callum’s ex Molly after the pair moved in together.

Tom gushed: “It feels like a dream sometimes, I can’t fault her – we get on, we laugh, we smile, she’s literally everything.

“I just think we’re so similar, I genuinely believe that I’ve found the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with.

“To go on Love Island for a second time and meet Molly is amazing.

“It’s all I’ve ever wanted to meet someone like that.

“Molly’s the only girl for me and I genuinely believe that I will be with that girl forever.”

Tom made the move to Manchester to be closer to the blonde stuner.

“We live together now, we just bounce off each other, we give each other banter, we have a laugh and Nelly has really taken to me,” Tom said.

During our chat, Love Island alumni Tom was quick to praise the new bombshell twist after first celebrity contestant Joey Essex entered the villa this week.

Tom, who found love on the All Stars series with Molly, said ex-Towie star Joey shouldn’t be trolled for going on the ITV2 dating show, because he’s looking for love like everyone else.

Despite being the reality King of TV, some viewers thought it was “unfair” for a celebrity to enter a non-celeb series.

But telly favourite Tom said if ex-Islanders can return to the villa, then it’s no different if a celebrity enters.

Tom also said it was the shake-up that the programme needed.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun: “Joey’s entrance was crazy – I think it’s great though, it adds a bit of a different element to Love Island someone like a big character like Joey Essex going in.

“I was watching it and like ‘Joey..’ no way.

“But it will be a good change, it will keep the lads of their toes and the girls seem excited when he walked in.”

Now that fans can access buying and selling pre-loved fashion for free on the platform, eBay is encouraging the nation to take inspiration from the Islanders and embrace re-wearing.

“Bringing the fans closer to the villa fashion than ever before, I loved seeing their faces lit up when they discovered their perfect pre-loved fit, inspired by the Islanders.

“Just as the Islanders enjoy sharing and re-wearing iconic pieces across the series, it is great to see the British public increasingly on board with this trend.

” They brought in their own items to become part of The Nation’s Shared Wardrobe and it was encouraging to see how much everyone enjoyed finding unique pieces to take home that had been pre-loved by someone else before.”
