New Titans stud quarterback Mason Rudolph was not going to take his name being thrown through the mud.

The only exciting thing in the Tennessee Titans 31-12 win over the Miami Dolphins happened off the field when a user named Betrjojo tweeted during the game, “And Mason Rudolph dmed my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago… Shaping up to be an all-time awful night.”

Betrjojo had his girlfriend Amanda Vance show the alleged Mason Rudolph DM as he ranted about losing his moneyline wager due to him coming in for Will Levis and beating his Dolphins.

He goes so far as to say, “He’s a bum. I don’t care. Dude, he can have you. I would take a Dolphins win tonight than you. I’m not even kidding. This is such a f—ing bad game. I want to go home.”

The Titans won at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday, but the quarterback had less joy with his play on Instagram and every other social media site that went on to report about his message.

‘Still in Miami?’ he asked Vance.

After leading the Titans to a 19-point win, Rudolph made it clear that the Instagram message was not what it seemed.

Fox Sports Radio host Doug Gottlieb asked Rudolph if it was an “unsolicited slide into the DMs” regarding what Casey Vance and her boyfriend attempted to portray for social media likes.

“No, it was a response, and it was about eight months ago,” Rudolph replied via Fox Sports Radio. “It was definitely not in between second down going to third down, that’s for sure…”

Mason Rudolph Leads Titans to First Win of Season

Mason Rudolph may not have been happy about being exposed over a message he sent a former cheerleader months ago, but he was certainly excited to lead his team to their first win of the season.

Rudolph threw for 85 yards and completed 9 of 17 passes in relief of Will Levis, who attempted just four passes before injuring his right throwing shoulder on a scramble.

Rudolph did just enough to ensure the team got into position to score points.

Nick Folk made field goals of 53, 52, 47, 51 and 29 yards on the night.
