The 2023 NCAA basketball season scoring leader went undrafted in the most recent NBA Draft.

Davis played collegiately at the University of Detroit Mercy for five seasons and is the NCAA’s second all-time leading scorer.

He has 3,664 career points in college basketball, three behind Hall of Famer Pete Maravich.

Earlier this month on Instagram, the college star uploaded pictures of himself in a Trail Blazers jersey.

He captioned the post, “.44 on my waist like Rick Ross jeans #year1,” with the number 44 as a reference to his jersey number.

Davis also uploaded on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He wrote, “From Calihan Hall to Moda Center #year1.”

Despite his release, he’ll most likely end up on a team in the NBA G League, also known as the minor leagues.

The Rip City Remix, Portland’s G League team, could look to add Davis.

In college, he averaged 25.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

The G League season tips off on November 10.

Training camp is held from October 30 to November 9.

Davis will have until then to find a team.
