Buffalo Bills preparing to run offensive play vs. Kansas City Chiefs.
It was easy to immediately (and unfairly) blame kicker Tyler Bass in the Buffalo Bills’ gut-wrenching postseason loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but many fans were actually quick to point the finger at quarterback Josh Allen.

Bass missed a game-tying 44-yard field goal attempt with less than two minutes to go. Even if he had made it, the Bills defense that hadn’t done much all game would have had to play hero against Patrick Mahomes.

But Allen’s questionable decision-making on Buffalo’s final drive also need to be talked about. Again, one single person is never deserving of all the blame, but Allen certainly would like a couple of these plays back:

And fans were quick to put the blame on Buffalo’s superstar QB:

Win as a team, lose as a team. The Bills’ stingy defense once again had no answers for Mahomes. Sean McDermott foolishly called a fake punt on 4th-and-5 that went nowhere. Allen missed some throws. Stefon Diggs let an easy deep ball go right through his hands.

The Bills lost as a team on Sunday. The Chiefs won as a team. Pure and simple.
