Reform UK leader Nigel Farage was accused of faking membership numbers for the party by Kemi Badenoch.

GB News viewers have demanded Reform UK leader Nigel Farage be the country’s next Prime Minister after he vowed to pursue “absolutely disgusting” Kemi Badenoch over her accusation he faked membership figures for his party.

The politician appeared on the channel’s breakfast show discussing the Toy leader’s claims and fans were quick to take to X to offer their support. “He has to be the next PM to save our country,” one enthused.

“This is the backbone the UK desperately needs,” a second wrote. A third chimed in: “Well done Nigel! Kemi will be eating her own smears and will regret her accusation.”

“I watched this live on GBNEWS this morning Well said Nigel. I totally feel your anger about Kemi Badenoch’s slanderous statements. We have all had enough of politicians blatantly lying Time for #ReformUK @reformparty_uk,” a fourth opined.

“Good for you Nigel, if you don’t speak up for honesty, then you’re complicit to lies. Words have consequences,” a fifth commented. Meanwhile a sixth viewer said: “The British public have had enough of the Tory’s lies and we see through them.”

Speaking to Dawn Neesom and Cameron Walker Mr. Farage said: “I don’t mind all sorts of comments being made about me, but to be accused by her of being a fraudster, I’m sorry. I am not going to let this rest.”

When pushed to divulge what action he would take he refused to expand n his remark simply saying: “I will let you know in the next couple of days, but I will not let this rest. It absolutely disgusting that she should accuse us of defrauding the British public is quite wrong in every way.”

Asked if he was implying he would be taking legal action he remained evasive about his plans. “I haven’t implied anything. I just said I will let you know my course of action in the next couple of days, and I will prove that these members are not fake,” he stated.

The feud between the pair began on Boxing Day when Reform UK claimed its membership had surpassed the Tories. A digital counter on the Reform website showed a tally of members before lunchtime on December 26 ticking past the 131,680 figure declared by the Conservative Party during its leadership election earlier this year.

Mr Farage said it was a “historic moment”, adding: “The youngest political party in British politics has just overtaken the oldest political party in the world. Reform UK are now the real opposition.” But Tory leader Kemi Badenoch accused the live membership ticker of being “fake” in a series of posts on X.

Insisting the figures were accurate he offered to have the numbers officially audited.

We have had our work confirmed by several independent sources overnight. If the Conservative Party want us to call in one of the big four auditors to check the validity of our numbers against the ballot papers that were sent out of the leadership contest, 1000s of which went to lapsed Conservative members and those that had resigned earlier this year, I think if the truth came out, she’d be very, very embarrassed indeed,” he told the hosts.

When he was asked if “the Tories are finished?” he didn’t hold back.

“I think they’re done. I think they’re done. I think in this current incarnation, as they are currently structured, it’s over. They are done.

“Kemi Badenoch won the leadership contest, which effectively meant they voted for continuity. She’s continuity. care. It’s more of the same. It’s more failure. It’s more deception,” he said.
