Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left ‘disappointed’ as the names of the final two stars in the dance off have been leaked, just hours before the results show is aired

The countdown is on until the winner of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing is unveiled, but before the glitzy final results show airs, a leak has disclosed the two stars set to face the ultimate dance-off, sparking outrage among fans.

Despite one celeb being forced to perform once more, social media has been ablaze with reactions; some viewers are “gutted”, whilst others feel the “right decision” has been made.

One fan expressed dismay that the bottom two “shouldn’t have been anywhere near the dance off”, while another simply stated: “I’m gutted!”

A third decried: “That’s rubbish!”, as another observed: “The four I expected from Week 1, in the end. Felt like Jamie and/or Montell overtook one of them for a good portion of the series, but here we are.”

Someone else added their perspective: “Aww gutted by this result, but they were all so good they all deserve to be in that final. Congratulations to the finalists.”

Nevertheless, there are those who agree with the leak; one person endorsed the outcome: “Right decision by a long way – so happy with the final four.”

Another echoed the sentiment: “The right result and should be a great final. And for once I’d be happy for any of the final four to win.”

Another tweeted in resigned agreement: “Although I am disappointed it was the right result and it’s what I expected. #StrictlySpoiler.”

On the brink of the semi-final, Ladbrokes disclosed that Pete Wicks was the prime candidate to depart next with odds at a tight 1/2. Hot on his heels was JB Gill with odds of 5/2, while both Sarah Hadland and Tasha Ghouri stood at longer odds of 12/1, reports Lancs Live.

Chris McCausland continues to reign as the top choice to clinch the Glitterball Trophy alongside Dianne Buswell at odds of 2/9. Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati remarked: “Chris has headed the betting pretty much from day one this series; it’ll take something pretty spectacular to stop him at this point.
