SI Swimsuit model and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne has been in a whirlwind relationship with Paul Skenes.

Paul Skenes took the MLB by storm this season thanks to his ability to light up the radar gun and rack up strikeout after strikeout.

Dunne and MLB star Paul Skenes have taken the sports world by storm, becoming one of its most talked-about couples since they went public with their relationship in August 2023.

Despite their busy and high-profile lives, the pair has made their relationship, and according to Olivia Dunne, their differences are what makes them thrive.

“I feel like we’re like yin and yang,” Dunne told People. “I love doing social media and I enjoy being in the spotlight.

“He doesn’t even have social media on his phone. He doesn’t like social media at all. We’re just very opposite, and I feel like it really works.”

Skenes was the Pirates’ No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft. Despite him not liking social media, he is on it with an Instagram account with more than 561,000 followers.

His dominance earned him an All-Star nod, and he was named the game’s starting pitcher for the National League.

Dunne, who is headed to her fifth year at LSU after winning an NCAA championship with the Lady Tigers, then went on to explain that the couple holds one another accountable.

“I think that we play off of one another and make each other better,” she said. “Paul definitely holds me accountable, which I really appreciate. Sometimes, it’s hard to find it within yourself to do things.

“I feel like his work ethic is something I’ve never seen before. It’s very cool to hear his advice for me, and I feel like that made me a better athlete last year.”

Skenes finished his first MLB season with a 1.96 ERA, the lowest among pitchers with over 100 innings pitched.

The couple met in Baton Rouge and went public with their relationship in August 2023.

Nobody has benefited from the NIL more than Olivia Dunne.

Dunne has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the NCAA’s decision to allow student-athletes to start profiting from selling their NIL rights.

According to On3’s ranking, which tracks NIL deals, Dunne is second with a valuation of US$3.9 million.

Some of her brand deals include American Eagle, Nautica, Snapchat, Microsoft, Raising Cane’s, Ulta Beauty, Purina and Accelerator energy drink.
